The BROCK Foundation believes that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our mission is to empower young BIPOC community members by providing them essential life skills, culturally responsive behavioral health strategies, and impactful mentorship.
The vision of the BROCK Foundation is a future where every at risk individual stands equipped with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges confidently. We envision a community where mental and behavioral well-being are prioritized, and mentorship fosters positive transformation. By embracing restorative justice principles, we aspire to build a stronger, more compassionate society—one where all voices are heard, valued, and uplifted.
WaKiem Brock is the Executive Director of The BROCK Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to resources, opportunities, and culturally responsive support for young BIPOC individuals and their families—particularly those impacted by the justice system.
Following his military career, WaKiem spent over two decades working in adult and juvenile corrections across the United States. His firsthand experience within these systems fueled a deep commitment to developing community-based interventions aimed at reducing incarceration rates among BIPOC youth.
Under his leadership, The BROCK Foundation champions innovative, equity-driven programs that empower individuals to overcome systemic barriers and achieve personal and collective wellness. WaKiem’s work is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and a belief in the transformative power of second chances.
We lead outreach by integrating mentorship, life skills, and wellness, utilizing innovative tech and collaborating with local and national partners. Through group sessions, workshops, mentorship, and support services, the BROCK Foundation fulfills its mission.
